What is a Dental Prosthetist?

Dental Prosthetists are the denture professional

A Dental Prosthetist (DP) is a qualified and skilled member of the dental profession. They are the Denture professionals and as such are the only registered health providers specifically trained to construct, fit and maintain dentures and all other professional denture care services.

All DP’s are required to be qualified as dental technicians before becoming eligible to be trained as dental prosthetists so they all have the ability to actually construct your denture.

Unlike when you visit a Dentist, the Doctor simply takes the impressions and sends it to someone sitting in a laboratory that has no idea of your hopes and wishes for your new dentures. DP's do they whole case from start to finish.

All the work is done entirely at our premises, so each patient knows exactly where their dentures are designed and produced.

When you put yourself in the care of a Dental Prosthetist you can rest easy that you are being looked after by a health provider with the most comprehensive knowledge of advanced techniques, new materials and the latest trends in the field of Denture Prosthetics.
